“Exceptionality” is mainly used in education today as a politically correct term for discussing a disability. I feel that Exceptionality is in fact a much more accurate term than “disability.” For every obstacle we are given, the human body and mind reaches around into uncharted areas of potential. The individuals I work with who have exceptionalities are incredibly gifted. This painting is a tribute to their beauty and determination.
